Monthly Archives: February 2012 I’ve completed and now have photos of a hat I designed. I wanted the effect of a splat of paint dripping down your head. May sound a little strange but I like things that are a little strange ;) so here is the DRIPS hat. A little slouchy, and knit out of an aaaahmazing organic...  I couldn’t resist. Made over a couple of days, improvised based on my socks by measuring my little girl’s foot. They’re cute! She loves them and began wearing them the second they were done. :) I used some hand-dyed sport weight yarn I bought at a local fiber event and size 5 needles.  This is the week of finished things. I finished my sweater about a week ago, two hats in between that (one I designed myself! eep!) and now these socks. I am frogging a scarf I am currently working on so that leaves nothing on my needles at the moment! Really strange feeling but it is...  I began this sweater sort of unsure how things were going to go. I bought the yarn on a whim and was thinking about how beautiful a fine-gauge pullover would be. I had no pattern in mind.
