I never thought the day would come that I would be sharing a finished object of my husband’s on this blog, but apparently, that day is today.
You may remember a while back while in North Carolina I showed my husband how to knit while we were waiting out a snowstorm in the mountains. I wasn’t sure if he would finish his knitting, and was imagining the frogging I would have to do in a corner of the house somewhere, unseen by him, to retrieve my wool. My yummy, crunchy wool. But he finished it. And has since finished another out of my handspun. And has started yet another hat.
But here’s his first.
Not bad for a first time, don’t you think?
I must admit, it’s a little strange that we’re spending our evenings on the couch watching old movies, me and my knitting, him and his knitting. I know he may not stick with it forever (you never know) but for now I’m enjoying the zen of having a knitting partner in the house with me.
